Information for patients
If you are considering participation in our clinical studies, start with the descriptions of our research program and clinical protocols. We encourage you to discuss our studies with your personal physician.
To determine your eligibility, we generally request a referral letter from your doctor that contains a concise summary of your medical history and relevant laboratory tests. You may also contact the study coordinator as well as the NIH Clinical Center's Patient Recruitment Office to answer any question you may have.
Information for referring clinicians
The best way for a patient to enter into our clinical studies is through his or her personal physician. We also encourage you to contact the study coordinator or the NIH Clinical Center's Patient Recruitment Office to discuss your patient's situation and answer any questions you may have.
