Custom Microarrays

The Microarray Unit provides custom microarrays to address a variety of research needs. For example, we have produced custom microarrays for Mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB), Plasmodium falciparum (malaria), and Cryptococcus neoformans. Investigators may also want to focus their arrays to distinguish between splice variants of specific genes or members of closely related gene families. Because the custom format is versatile, we encourage investigators to consult with us regarding the potential development of other applications, such as genotyping and promoter scanning.
