Phase I Clinical Trial Units for Therapeutics

Prioritization and Approval Process

Concept proposals will be reviewed by the VTEU and Phase I clinical Trials Oversight Committee every 60 days according to the following criteria:

• Public health significance
• Appropiateness and feasibility of the study design
• Available funding

Protocols for concepts approved by the Committee will be developed by the contractors in collaboration with the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
