Malaria Studies

You can help NIAID investigators find effective ways to control and eventually eradicate malaria by volunteering to participate in a clinical study.

The following studies are being conducted at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. The links lead to full study descriptions and contact information:

• Evaluation, Treatment and Monitoring of Patients With a Known or Suspected Parasitic Infection
• VRC 300: Screening of Healthy Volunteers for Clinical Trials of Investigational Vaccines to Prevent Infectious Diseases

Study-related medical exams and medication will be provided, and you may be compensated for your time. The NIH Clinical Center is conveniently located on the Metro’s Red Line at the Medical Center station.
