Key Functions

• Negotiates and issues all NIAID grant awards
• Handles all matters relating to the notice of grant award, including funding levels and terms and conditions
• Resolves budget and administrative issues for individual grants
• Interprets grants policies as they relate to the grant award process
• Oversees post award fiscal and administrative issues
• Provides guidance to NIAID and the extramural community
• Maintains a repository of all official grant award records
