Key Functions

• Solicit, negotiate, award, and administer complex contracts for biomedical and behavioral Research and Development and R&D support services.
• Procure supplies and services through simplified acquisition procedures. Responsible for all procurements above the micro-purchase threshold.
• Manage NIAID's purchase card program.
• Interpret and implement federal acquisition policy and regulations. 
• Develop NIAID-specific acquisition policies and procedures.
• Provide expert business management and acquisition support.
