Key Functions

• Manages NIAID small business programs—Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR).
• Represents NIAID on multiple National Institutes of Health (NIH) Roadmap Committees, the NIH Trans-Agency Complementary and Alternative Medicine Coordinating Committee, the NIH Bioengineering Consortium (BECON), and the Biotechnology Industry Organization.
