Extramural Administrative Management Branch

The Extramural Administrative Management Branch (EAMB) advises Extramural Programs staff regarding administrative policies and practices.

EAMB responsibilities include

  • Providing overall administrative support services to the Extramural Programs, including budget, personnel, procurement, space management, travel, and property accountability
  • Analyzing the effects of changes in administrative policies and practices by organizational levels above the NIAID and advising the Executive Officer of these effects
  • Serving as the coordination point for handling administrative or management problems that cross program lines and that cannot be resolved at that level
