Intramural Administrative Management Branch

The Intramural Administrative Management Branch (IAMB) is responsible for 1) serving as the coordinating point in handling all administrative or management actions or issues; 2) advising the Director, Division of Intramural Research (DIR), and staff, as well as other key Institute officials, on administrative policies and practices; and 3) providing overall administrative support services to DIR, including financial management and budget execution, human resource management, travel management, program analysis, procurement and contract management, safety and security, and facilities management and operations.

IAMB supports NIAID’s intramural research programs within DIR and is comprised of the Office of the Chief and three sections: two Operations Support Sections and the Management Support Section.
