Councils and Committees

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is the senior internal policy and advisory group to the Director, NIAID, and acts as a forum for discussing and setting important Institute-wide scientific and management policies and for discussing special issues and concerns that affect NIAID programs.

National Advisory Allergy and Infectious Disease Council

NIAID's Council plays four key roles: performing second-level review, advising us on policy, reviewing programs, and developing and clearing concepts for PAs, RFAs, and solicitations.
