RTB-sponsored NIAID Bioinformatics seminars are held the second Thursday of every month. Each seminar covers an area of bioinformatics relevant to intramural investigators, and seminars about NCBI databases are coupled with hands-on sessions held at the Center for Information Technology (CIT).
Training in microarray software* use is offered (free to NIH employees) at CIT, Building 12A. Here are some examples:
- mAdb Basic Informatics
- mAdb Intermediate Informatics
- Statistical Analysis of Microarray Data
- Microarray and Oligoarray Analysis Using GeneSpring
- Microarray and Oligoarray Analysis Using GeneSpring—Lab
- Partek Pro for Gene Expression Analysis
- Advanced Statistical Analysis of Microarray Data Using ANOVA Techniques With Partek Pro
- Building Diagnostic Models Using Microarray Data in Partek Pro
- Easy Large-Scale Bioinformatics on the NIH Biowulf Supercluster
