How to Apply to the Malaria Infection Biology Research and Training Program
Applications to the MIB Program are accepted throughout the year and decisions on admission to the MIB Program will be made in a timely fashion after receipt of an application.
Postdoctoral Fellows
Students interested in a postdoctoral fellowship must provide a curriculum vitae; a short description of their thesis research and interest in MIB; and two letters of recommendation, one from their thesis advisor.

Top applicants will be invited to visit the NIAID Twinbrook campus in Rockville, Maryland, to present their thesis research and meet with MIB investigators, students, and fellows. Final decisions on offering an applicant a postdoctoral position will be made after his or her campus visit.
Graduate Students
Students matriculating in National Institutes of Health (NIH)-affiliated graduate programs would select an MIB investigator as their thesis advisor through the regular process of their particular program. Graduate students in universities not affiliated with NIH who are interested in the MIB Program are encouraged to consider an individual graduate partnership and should contact the MIB Program director.
