A Zeiss 510 Meta scanning laser confocal microscope with multiphoton capabilities and a live-cell incubation system is available for use at RML. The microscope features wide-field epifluorescence, an argon laser with 458, 477, 488, and 514 nm lines, a DPSS 561, an HeNe 633, and a Coherent Ti-sapphire laser that is tunable from 690-1040 nm. The incubation system encompasses an enclosed heated chamber and support for growth vessels, hydration, and gas exchange.​​
