R01 Application to Award Timeline by Review Cycle

This timeline tells you what to expect for R01 funding by review cycle in fiscal year 2011. Other application types use different receipt dates; check NIH's Standard Due Dates for Competing Applications. For initiative receipt dates, see the funding opportunity announcement.

1. Prepare application. Get advice from NIAID's All About Grants and mentors.

2. Organization submits the application by the receipt date.
