NIH Policy Announcements

Purpose

To inform staff and investigators about policy changes.

Procedure

The NIH Guide is NIH's main publication for announcing new policies or policy changes; NIH houses other Web sites for existing policy information.

Investigators and Staff

• Go to the Guide for request for applications and program announcements. The Guide also publishes notices announcing new policies, addenda to previous notices or initiatives, findings of research misconduct, some solicitations, and other items.
• Go to other NIH and NIAID Web sites for important policies, including:
  • NIH Grants Policy and Guidance.
  • NIH Grants Policy Statement.
  • Grants Management Infonet (internal only).
  • NIAID Funding News.
  • NIAID's Research Funding Web site.
