Strategy for NIH Funding
Prepare Your Just-in-Time Information · Timing for Submitting Your Application
Part 4. Submit Your Application
In this part, you will learn the ins and outs of submitting, which involves a series of actions you take together with the appointed business official in your grants business office, called the AOR—authorized organizational representative.
To submit on time, it is helpful to understand how all aspects of submitting work, from what constitutes an on-time submission to Grants.gov to how to get through validations and use the viewing window to your advantage. Here we also tell you about system and security settings and other actions to take to help you bypass—or fix—problems you encounter along the way.
Learn what to include in your cover letter, when you may submit a late application, where to find key contacts, and what to do if you are not satisfied with the application after you submit it.
This part applies to any application using electronic submission.
