Join NIAID for a three-day workshop that will be highly informative, interactive, and a unique opportunity for investigators and grants management administrators to work one-on-one with NIAID staff.
Participants will include grants management specialists and policy leaders, as well as program administrators (U.S. and non-U.S.). The training will focus on useful tips and resources that grantees need to successfully manage a NIH grant such as how to prepare a progress report, information for subcontractors, how to prepare for an NIAID foreign organization system review, and more.
There will also be breakout sessions and hands-on forms completion training, which will give participants the opportunity to explore the subject matter. Topics will include:
NIAID-funded institutions are urged to send representatives to this training. Scientists and administrators at foreign subcomponents are also welcome to attend. Topics that will be presented would be most useful for grants program administrators or business office staff who manage NIH grants, and research investigators who do not have a business office to manage their awards.
The training will be held at the NIH Neuroscience Center, 6001 Executive Plaza Blvd., Rockville, MD, from April 16 to 18, 2013.
To register, go to NIAID Grants Policy and Management Training Workshops. Registration closes on April 10.
There is no registration fee associated with this training, however, all attendees are responsible for their own travel, hotel, and expenses through their institution, network, or group affiliation.
Please bring a passport or a valid U.S. driver’s license. Since the conference will be held at a U.S. government facility, security guards at the entrance will request a photo ID.
