* Starting in FY 2010, NIH changed the way it calculates overall impact scores. To learn more, see Understand Paylines and Percentiles in the Strategy for NIH Funding.** In FY 2003, T32 paylines were set at an overall impact score of 210 for biodefense and 180 for non-biodefense.
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) stimulated the growth and recovery of the U. S. economy. ARRA gave $1.12 billion to NIAID above its regular appropriation for biomedical research in fiscal years 2009 and 2010.
We did not create ARRA paylines for FY 2010.
