Before submitting an application, determine whether you qualify for the NIAID Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program and find an open opportunity. Download the SF 424 (R&R) Application Guide as a reference during the application process.
Institutions must complete five different registrations before undergoing the application process.

Grant applications are scored for scientific merit by a peer review group at the NIH Center for Scientific Review. Follow the steps below to stay current on the progress of your grant review.
