This SOP has internal roles only.
To request that the NIH Center for Scientific Review (CSR) change a grant application's primary institute assignment (grant number), activity code, integrated review group or study section, or Council date or withdraw an application.
Program staff may request that a grant application’s primary assignment be changed, either by using a paper 901 form or initiating an electronic Assignment Change Request (ACR).
Change of Institute Assignment
In deciding whether to accept an assignment change from another institute, discuss the consequences with your branch chief. If your division decides to accept an application, notify your division coordinator, who will then let the NIAID Referral Liaison at Contact for NIAID Staff know.
Withdrawal After Application Submission
If the application will be reviewed at NIAID, contact the NIAID Scientific Review Program or the appropriate program officer. For more information, read Communicating With NIAID—How to Get Help.
