IMPAC II

Standard Operating Procedure Table of Contents

Purpose

To house data on extramural applications received (funded/unfunded). The SOP currently reads funded programs, in reality it has information on both.

Procedure

Information on IMPACII can be accessed only by government staff.  Request access through your IC Coordinator

NIAID Staff

  • IMPAC II combines a relational database with query tools and business function modules.
  • Use IMPAC II to track and review data on grants and grant applications, including summary statements. Keep in mind, you cannot email summary statements to PIs. Instead, encourage them to register with the eRA Commons where they can view statements online.
  • To log into the eRA Modules one of which is QVR (Query View Report) system insert PIV card and enter pin. NIH has made the two-factor authentication mandatory.
