Purpose

To house data on PHS agency-funded programs.

Procedure

IMPAC houses data on PHS-funded awards and can be accessed only by government staff.

NIAID Staff

• IMPAC combines a relational database with query tools and business function modules.
  • Before you can access IMPAC, you must obtain a user ID and password.
  • To register, email Contact for NIAID Staff and Contact for NIAID Staff.
• Use IMPAC to track and review data on grants and grant applications, including summary statements. Keep in mind, you cannot email summary statements to PIs. Instead, encourage them to register with the eRA Commons where they can view statements online.
• To log in to the Query View Report system, use the single sign on (SSO) process.
  • Go to QVR and enter your NIH user name and password.
  • If you are new to SSO, follow the instructions at Moving to NIH or Agency Log-in to synchronize your accounts.
• To access IMPAC applications, navigate to the eRA Federal Intranet.
• For IMPAC assistance, email Contact for NIAID Staff.
