To enable grantees to perform some actions without prior approval from Grants Management Program (GMP).
Expanded authorities apply to all grants except individual fellowships; however, GMP decides automatic carryover of unobligated balances based on grant mechanism. Also see the Prior Approvals for Post-Award Grant Actions SOP.
All grantees may perform the following actions without prior approval from GMP.
Grantees with questions should contact the appropriate grants management specialist listed on their Notice of Award.
