NIAID Paylines

NIAID Paylines

Updated September 7, 2017. NIAID has no FY 2018 paylines yet. Find older paylines at Archive of Final NIAID Paylines by Fiscal Year.

Paylines are the funding cutoff points for grant applications. Following the paylines, NIAID funds most applications in percentile (for R01s only) or overall impact/priority score order (for others). Each fiscal year, NIAID sets the initial paylines conservatively and may fund additional applications beyond the paylines at the end of a fiscal year.
