HVTN provides structured mentorship and project funding to investigators working on HIV vaccines.

The HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN) offers two scholarship programs for early-career investigators funded through a supplement from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).

The portal brings together some exciting features including: links to BCBB’s training resources; a section of scripts, code, and programs created by NIAID researchers downloadable from GitHub; and a curated calendar of events with entries focused on bioinformatics and computational biology.

SimpleITK is a simplified programming interface to the algorithms and data structures of the Insight Toolkit (ITK). It supports interfaces for multiple programming languages including C++, Python, R, Java, C#, Lua, Ruby and TCL.
