2020 Equal Opportunity Magazine – NIH ranked #2 in EOE’s annual survey for the Top 20 Government Employees! Equal Opportunity Magazine, launched in 1968, is a career-guidance and recruitment magazine offered at no charge. Readers of Equal Opportunity were asked to name the employers, both in the private and public sectors, for whom they would most like to work or that they believe would provide a positive working environment for members of minority groups.

U.S. Veterans Magazine 2020 Best of the Best - NIAID was the only NIH Institute to make the list, for the third year in a row! NIAID and NIH were ranked among the Top Government & Law Enforcement Agencies according to the U.S. Veterans annual review of the nation's employers, initiatives, government agencies, and educational institutions.

2019 Best Places to Work in the Federal Government – Not only did the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) rank #2 for the second year in a row, but the employee satisfaction rate went up from last year in the Partnership for Public Service's annual assessment of the best places to work in the federal government.
