By law, applicants must complete forms in English (as well as enter monetary information in terms of U.S. dollars). This requirement extends to additional application elements, e.g., Reference Letters, where the applicant is responsible for providing a translated copy if necessary.

If a significant portion of an awardee’s employees are not fluent in English, the grantee is responsible for providing a translated copy of the Notice of Award in the language in which the employees are more familiar.
