Recognize What You Need To Change Scope

You must obtain NIAID’s written prior approval before changing the scope of your research activities. Start by discussing with your program officer your situation and the changes you are considering.

Opportunities and Resources

Small businesses are invited to submit research proposals in response to A Solicitation of NIH and CDC for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Contract Proposals. The submission deadline is October 28, 2021, at 5 p.m. Eastern Time.
The funding opportunity announcement (FOA) will support creative educational activities with a primary focus on courses for skills development, research experiences, and mentoring activities.
NIAID encourages innovative research to provide foundational knowledge for understanding the role of DEAD/H-box helicases in innate immune sensing, antimicrobial immunity, inflammation, and immune cell homeostasis.
