For Foreign Investigators and Institutions—Know Eligibility Requirements
Applications from foreign institutions are strengthened when they include either expertise, study opportunities, or resources that are not easily available in the United States—for example, access to a unique study population or scientists with unusual skills or achievements.
Opportunities and Resources
To address unmet research gaps and obstacles, NIAID will fund research projects to promote and expand basic and translational research to advance promising Group A Streptococcus vaccine candidate discovery and evaluation.
NIAID aims to support basic and preclinical research to characterize persister stages in selected protozoan infections.
Propose to characterize immune system development, regulation, and function in mice with diverse microbial exposure through comparison to mice maintained under standard specific pathogen-free conditions.
