Submit Feedback on NIAID’s Strategic Plan for Tuberculosis

NIAID is developing a strategic framework to advance tuberculosis (TB) research and development for the next five years and beyond. To advance understanding, prevention, treatment, and the eventual elimination of TB, we’ve identified several research gaps and opportunities that fall within the broad categories of fundamental research, detection/diagnosis, prevention/vaccines, treatment/therapeutics, and resources.

See the June 27, 2018 Guide notice to review our framework in full.

From you, we seek comments identifying:

  • Significant research gaps or barriers not included in our framework
  • Resources required or lacking that are critical to advancing our research priorities
  • Emerging scientific advances or techniques in basic, diagnostic, therapeutic, or vaccine research that may accelerate TB research

To submit a response, complete the web form available at NIAID Tuberculosis Strategic Plan Request for Information. The deadline to reply is July 16, 2018. Take care to avoid sharing any proprietary, classified, confidential, trade secret, or sensitive information in your response.
