Are you ready to meet login requirements for NIH’s electronic Research Administration (eRA) and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)?
- eRA. Starting on September 15, 2021, you must use Login.gov credentials and two-factor authentication to access eRA Commons, ASSIST, and Internet-Assisted Review. To transition your eRA account, follow instructions at Two-Factor Authentication: Access eRA Modules via Login.gov.
- NCBI. Starting now, you must use a third-party login instead of a password stored at NCBI to access MyNCBI, SciENcv, and MyBibliography. Although My NCBI Login Transition Tips describes many login options, we recommend that NIH applicants and grantees choose Login.gov.
If you don’t have a Login.gov account already, you can establish one to use for NIH and across other U.S. government agencies. Follow the eRA instructions linked above or use Login.gov’s Create an Account.
