NIAID is cohosting an Advances in Aging, Immunity, and Chronic Inflammatory Diseases workshop on May 9 and 10, 2023. Presentations will highlight recent scientific advances, mechanisms involved in accelerated development of immune aging and chronic disease, knowledge gaps and challenges, and scientific research priorities, as well as promote collaboration between investigators.

As detailed in the Agenda, the workshop will be split into five themed sessions:

  1. Dynamics of Resident Immune Cell Aging
  2. Organ-Immune System Crosstalk in Health and Disease
  3. Neuroimmune Pathways and Neurodegenerative Diseases
  4. Immunometabolism
  5. Responses to Infection and Vaccines

The workshop itself will be hybrid, meaning there are options to attend in person or virtually.

Participants may submit an abstract for a poster presentation. To do so, follow the instructions at Abstract Information.
