NIAID’s chartered scientific review committees evaluate applications for institutional and educational training, and career development awards. They are now renamed:

  • Microbiology, Infectious Diseases and AIDS Integrated Review Group (Parent IRG, MIDA)
    • Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome Research Study Section (AIDS)
    • Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Research Study Section (MID)
    • Microbiology and Infectious Diseases B Research Study Section (MID B)
  • Allergy, Immunology, and Transplantation Research Committee (AITC)

For your reference, the NIH Scientific Review Group (SRG) Roster Index lists special emphasis panels (SEPs) and chartered study sections managed by NIH’s Center for Scientific Review or NIH institutes and centers.
