Yes. NIH considers accepting late applications when delays occur because your institution is closed due to a natural disaster, where your application's lateness should not exceed the number of days that your institution was officially closed.

Additionally, as noted in the September 25, 2020 Guide notice, NIH institutes and centers (ICs) may accept late applications on a case-by-case basis absent an official closure given the combination of wildfires and the existing Public Health Emergency regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
