Biography

As a member of the DeLeo research group in the Laboratory of Bacteriology, my research focuses primarily on the interaction of human neutrophils with bacterial pathogens. Currently, I am interested in Klebsiella pneumoniae clinical isolates their interaction with neutrophils, blood, and serum. We are using genomic approaches (CRISPR mutants, transposon libraries, and RNAseq), as well as in vitro assays, to address these questions.
