Javeed received his Ph.D. from All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi and his Ph.D. thesis research aimed at understanding the role of disordered proteins in Mycobacterium tuberculosis pathogenesis. As a postdoc, his work is focused on understanding the role of immunoevasins in MHC Class I antigen presentation. In another projects, he is interested in understanding the ligand binding plasticity of Immunoinhibitory receptor LAG3 and developing nanobody therapeutics against SARS-COV-2.
