Biography
My research interests are broadly centered on ways to combat vector-borne diseases. I would like to bridge the current knowledge gap between vector biology, insecticide resistance, and vector-borne disease transmission. At LMVR, my objectives are to understand the mechanisms of vector-host and vector-pathogen interactions at the biochemical and molecular level, and to explore the role of insecticide resistance in arthropod saliva and consequently mosquito blood feeding and pathogen transmission.
