Biography

During his doctoral research, Ashish investigated the regulatory role of G-quadruplexes in mycobacterial transcription and translation processes. His current research interests focus on elucidating the mechanisms of action for potential tuberculosis (TB) therapeutics. Ashish is particularly passionate about unraveling the complex factors contributing to drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
