Biography
Dr. Singh earned both her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Biochemistry from the University of Delhi, India. She completed her PhD at the National Institute of Immunology (NII), New Delhi, where she investigated the improved immunogenicity of nanoparticle-based pneumococcal antigens. Her work focuses on developing innovative priming and boosting strategies to gain better insights into mechanisms underlying the immune response to VLP-forming HIV-1 mRNA vaccines. She has twice been awarded the prestigious Intramural AIDS Research Fellowship (IARF) in 2023 and 2024 by the Office of AIDS Research (OAR). Her fellowship-supported research aims to explore various boosting platform/strategies to induce mucosal immunity against HIV-1.
