ChemDB HIV, Opportunistic Infection and Tuberculosis Therapeutics Database (ChemDB)

The ChemDB database contains information extracted from scientific literature on the structure and activity of compounds that have been tested against HIV, opportunistic pathogens and TB. This database is continually updated with information extracted from published literature, including the chemical structure and biological activity of compounds.

Main Areas of Focus

  • To compile and annotate preclinical data on compounds with potential therapeutic action against HIV/AIDS and related opportunistic infections

Tools

  • Chemical search allows searches by compound structure or chemical characteristics
  • Biological search performs searches based on compound activity against a specific pathogen or enzyme
  • Literature search supports searches based on publication information, such as author name or journal
  • Drugs in development listings

Who Can Use This Resource
