Dr. Dropulic received her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. Subsequently, she completed her fellowship training in infectious diseases at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, where she remained on faculty and served as an attending physician for general infectious diseases, an acute care provider for patients with HIV/AIDS, and later co-directed the Transplant Infectious Diseases service at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Dropulic joined the LID as a staff clinician in 2008 and evaluates patients with unusual or severe presentations of viral infections and conducts clinical trials of viral vaccines or antiviral treatments in healthy volunteers.
