Biography

Matt is the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Administrator for the Integrated Research Facility (IRF) at Fort Detrick facility, supporting a wide range of labs, users, and instrumentation.  He enjoys making sure that the users have the tools they need to get their work done, and also developing new tools and pipelines to aid them in their scientific ventures.  Using a variety of implementations, including Python, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Mongo, Neo4j, VBA, and LaTeX, he has created new integrated methods to help make science at the IRF run smoother.
