Staff Scientist – Molecular biology and vaccine design for respiratory syncytial virus and related pneumoviruses

The Laboratory of Infectious Diseases (LID) is recruiting an individual with extensive experience in investigating pneumoviral molecular biology and experimental vaccines. Responsibilities include 1) designing and producing wild-type and mutant pneumoviruses using reverse genetic systems; 2) detailed characterization of viruses in vitro and in experimental animals; 3) production and characterization of vaccine virus seed lots; and 4) characterization of vaccine isolates from clinical study specimens.
